KG Nilson (b. 1942) is a Swedish artist whose paintings and prints move between geometric abstraction, map imagery, cities and landscapes. The systematic and the intuitive meet in his work. Geometric structures, fields of colour, roads, boundaries and recurring symbols form visual systems in which colour creates rhythm, movement and space.

KG Nilson’s work is held in collections including Moderna Museet, Nationalmuseum and Public Art Agency Sweden in Stockholm, the British Museum in London, Museum für Konkrete Kunst in Ingolstadt and Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź.
Public commission
- His public works also include the ballot box and lot-drawing box for the Swedish Parliament, completed in 1998.
